As we continue to grow and improve at these events, we’ll need to refine our execution to maximize our rewards. Use this guide to understand how the Bear Trap Event works and how we can improve as a team.
Who should rally?
We need to work on this as a team, both optimizing our map and our rally calling. As shown in the diagram below, march times increase significantly as we move farther from the trap. We should make sure the strongest bear participants are closest to the trap to maximize attack strength and frequency. For now, we suggest that no one more than four rows away from the trap should call a rally.
HOWEVER, in the last six minutes of the rally, it becomes an all-out blitz; everyone in rows one through four should rally.

Key Mechanics
In the Bear Hunt event, rally damage depends heavily on Lethality
Rally leader, your complete stats, buffs, hero skills (all three heroes), and troop strength affect the outcome.
Joiner, only your troops and the first hero’s first skill matter. Additional hero skills and personal buffs do not carry over.

What you should do:
Rally Leader
- Higher-tier players should lead rallies. Stats, troops, and heroes maximize efficiency.
- Use your strongest heroes (all three slots) and best gear/buffs.
- Watch for overlapping rallies, as they may split forces and reduce overall damage.
Rally Joiner
- Slot a high-lethality hero in the first position. Chenko/Yeonwoo/Amane/Amadeus are solid options if unsure.:

- If your first hero’s skill is weak or irrelevant, sending no hero is a better option.
Troop Ratio (when sending troops)
Recommended: 50% Infantry | 20% Cavalry | 30% Archers. Archers deal the most damage in
Tips + Strategy
- Use preset formations to save and quickly deploy optimal troop/hero setups before rallies.

- Make sure your governor gear, charms, research, and troop deployment capacity are optimized to maximize rally strength.
- Position rally leaders near the trap to reduce the time spent marching. Faster marches mean more rally attempts and more damage over time.
- If you have already secured a reward tier, consider letting lower-power or lower-capacity players take spots. This helps the alliance maximize overall rewards.
